Montreal experienced very cold weather accompanied by snow-laden winds today, Sunday

The Canadian Environmental Agency had issued travel warnings due to winter weather for multiple regions, noting that snowfall ranging between 5 and 10 centimeters is expected in southern Quebec.

In addition to the snow, residents will feel as if the temperature is -12 degrees Celsius due to the blowing winds.

The Canadian Environmental Agency said: "The snow combined with cold weather may lead to slippery road conditions, and visibility may suddenly drop at times due to heavy snow."

The warning urges drivers to slow down, maintain a safe distance while following other vehicles, and stay alert. The weather is expected to improve tomorrow morning, Monday, with temperatures expected to rise above freezing on a sunny day.
