The civil protection forces in Alexandria, supported by 7 firefighting vehicles, contained a massive fire this Saturday morning, which engulfed more than 4 famous restaurants at the Raml Station without causing any human casualties.
The incident began when the Alexandria Security Directorate received a notification from the Al-Attarien Police Station about a huge fire breaking out in several commercial shops in the Raml Station area in downtown Alexandria. Immediately, the civil protection and ambulance forces rushed to the scene of the fire, where they managed to contain the blaze, extinguish the flames, and prevent it from spreading to adjacent shops.
Upon arrival and examination, it was found that the fire originated in a famous restaurant, with initial indications suggesting that the cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit that ignited the flames and spread to the neighboring restaurants.
The flames were controlled, the fire was extinguished, and the necessary legal actions regarding the incident were taken. A report of the incident was filed, and the relevant authorities took over the investigations.
