Several Canadian cities, including the capital Ottawa, are experiencing severe weather changes today, Monday, as the city of Ottawa, the Canadian capital, and parts of southern Ontario witness cloudy skies with temperatures rising to a comfortable 16 degrees Celsius, making it the coldest day of the week.

Environment Canada also advises protecting your skin when the UV index is three or higher, especially between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., even on cloudy days.

Additionally, Health Canada states that if you are outdoors, individuals should seek shade, wear protective clothing and hats, apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, avoid tanning, and use UV-protective sunglasses.

As evening approaches, the cloudy skies will remain, while temperatures drop to 9 degrees Celsius – making it the coldest night of the week.

Sunshine and clear skies return on Tuesday, with temperatures expected to rise to 22 degrees Celsius. The clear skies will last until evening when temperatures drop to 11 degrees Celsius.

Wednesday will bring sunshine with cloudy periods. Daytime temperatures will rise to 25 degrees Celsius. The skies will turn cloudy by evening, with temperatures expected to drop from 10 degrees to 16 degrees Celsius. While it will be a bit cooler, the night will still be relatively warm.

Thursday and Friday are expected to see a mix of sun and clouds, with a 30 to 40 percent chance of rain throughout the day.

Daytime temperatures will rise between 25 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius. By evening, there is a 30 percent chance of rain returning, with nighttime temperatures hovering around 16 degrees Celsius.

On Saturday, sunshine and clear skies will welcome the weekend. Temperatures will reach 24 degrees Celsius, gradually dropping to 13 degrees Celsius by evening.

If you are planning outdoor activities or running errands, Tuesday to Saturday is ideal, although you may want to keep an umbrella or a raincoat handy for Thursday and Friday due to the possibility of rain.

Warm temperatures are expected to continue in the following week from June 16, ranging from 19 degrees Celsius to 27 degrees Celsius. Residents can anticipate varied weather, with a mix of sunshine, rain, and cloudy skies.
