The Sudanese in Ottawa and those who stand in solidarity with them perform Friday prayers, supplications, and pleading to stop the war, today Friday afternoon at Major's Hill Park in Ottawa at half past one in the afternoon after the local authorities in Ottawa approved this.

The march, which starts at one o'clock in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after Friday prayers, proceeds to Parliament Square where at twenty-three minutes past three in the afternoon, several members of parliament including Matthew Green and the Fergus team along with a number of Sudanese and those in solidarity with them will address the crowd.

This demonstration, which calls for stopping the war, protecting civilians, and transferring power to civilians in Sudan, is interspersed with patriotic enthusiastic songs calling for renouncing violence and building the state, not war and destruction. The demonstration ends at four thirty in the afternoon today.

The Sudanese in Ottawa urge all their friends and lovers of good and peace to support them by participating in this demonstration and distributing this invitation and praying for peace to prevail in Sudan.

It is worth mentioning that the bloody conflict in Sudan has led to hundreds of victims including dead and injured, and the destruction of homes and vital facilities.

Furthermore, many countries including Canada are still working on evacuating their nationals as the threats have not been limited to the combatants only but have reached everyone.
