Meteorologists expect that the start of the weather today, Saturday, will be gray and humid for the weekend in Mississauga and southern Ontario.
There will again be a strong threat of showers in the afternoon and thunderstorms according to the latest weather forecast from Environment Canada.
Fog patches will dissipate in the morning before a cloudy day featuring a 60 percent chance of showers and a risk of thunderstorms in the afternoon hours.
Winds will be northwesterly at 20 km/h in the afternoon. The daytime high will be 26 degrees Celsius, but it will feel like 33 degrees Celsius with the humidity.
The UV index will be 8 or very high, and early in the evening will be partly cloudy skies, with a 40 percent chance of showers and another risk of thunderstorms. Winds will be northwesterly at 20 km/h becoming lighter in the evening.
Fog patches will develop overnight as temperatures are expected to dip to 17 degrees Celsius.
There will be two minutes less of daylight with sunrise at 5:44 AM and then sunset in the evening at 9:02 PM, totaling 15 hours and 18 minutes of daylight saving time.
