The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Nova Scotia confirmed that the three missing children in the province were last seen the day before their disappearance, in a new development that raised questions about the circumstances of their absence and the timing of the incident.

The police stated in an official statement that ongoing investigations revealed that the children were seen with their mother in the East Hants area, the day before they were reported missing on May 21. The vehicle used for their movement has been identified as a gray 2008 Honda CRV, bearing a license plate from Nova Scotia.

The police are intensifying their efforts to gather evidence, calling on citizens and drivers who may have video recordings from surveillance cameras or dashcams in areas where the family might have passed through, to provide them as soon as possible.

The authorities confirmed that the investigation is still ongoing in coordination with law enforcement agencies in other provinces, expressing deep concern for the safety of the children, especially since a warrant had been issued for the mother in connection with the case.

The public police urge not to interact directly with the woman or the children if seen, and to report immediately at 911 or contact the nearest police station.

These developments come amid widespread public interest and increasing calls for the quick recovery of the children and their safe return to their families.
