The closure of four McDonald's restaurants within less than a year has caused concern and confusion among customers due to their fear of something happening to these branches or due to rising food prices, especially since after the closure of McDonald's restaurants in Scarborough's Eglinton Square, Malvern Mall, Bridlewood Mall in recent months, another restaurant closed in Cedarbrae Mall at the end of last month.

Some people online believe that this may be related to the increase in the chain's prices.

For its part, McDonald's said in a statement that the company is always looking for ways to provide better service and satisfy our guests by focusing on areas where we can meet their needs.

A company spokesperson added: While we have closed some of our locations, we continue to open new locations in high-traffic areas.. We are grateful for the continued support of our guests and look forward to serving them at our other locations.
