The Houthi group in Yemen announced on Friday evening that it targeted a ship in the Arabian Sea with a number of drones, due to "the violation by the owning company of the ban on entering Israeli ports".
The military spokesman for the Houthis, Yahya Saree, stated in a statement that his group "carried out an operation targeting the (Megalopolis) ship in the Arabian Sea, using several drones, and the operation successfully achieved its objectives".
He added that "the targeting of the ship was due to the owning company's violation of the ban on entering Israeli ports".
The statement indicated that "the targeting of the Israeli enemy with rockets and drones would continue, and these operations would not stop until the aggression is halted, the blockade on Gaza is lifted, and the aggression on Lebanon ceases".
