Nearly two months after the end of a month-long strike last year, Canada Post is still facing difficulties in restoring the level of mail service. A report from CTV News Toronto stated that many Canadians are frustrated due to ongoing delays in mail delivery.
The news team conducted a test to determine the duration of mail deliveries and found that some letters took longer than expected to reach their destinations. Some customers expressed concern that these delays could negatively impact their businesses and daily lives.
In an interview with CTV News, one expert described the situation as a "continuous decline" for Canada Post, noting that the company is facing significant challenges in adapting to changes in the mail and logistics market.
For its part, Canada Post confirmed that it is working hard to address the delays and restore service levels to normal. It noted that the recent strike caused a significant backlog of mail and that it is making substantial efforts to address this backlog and improve the efficiency of its operations.
However, many customers remain dissatisfied with the current situation and hope to see tangible improvements in the near future.
