Ottawa – Arab Canada News
A plane belonging to "Air Canada" was forced to make an emergency landing in the state of Iowa on Wednesday evening after experiencing a technical problem during the flight, according to Canadian and American media.
The plane was en route from Denver, Colorado to Toronto, with dozens of passengers on board, when the crew noticed a technical malfunction that required diverting the flight to Des Moines International Airport in Iowa.
"Air Canada" confirmed in a statement that the plane landed safely with no injuries reported among the passengers or crew members, noting that the decision was made "as a precautionary measure to ensure safety."
The statement added that maintenance teams immediately began inspecting the aircraft to determine the nature of the technical failure, while alternative arrangements were provided for the passengers to continue their journey to Toronto as soon as possible.
It is worth noting that this type of incident, although rare, is considered a common procedure in aviation to ensure the highest standards of air safety.
