11 people injured in a shooting near the "Scarborough Town" center in Toronto

At least 11 people were injured in a shooting incident that occurred on Friday evening near the Scarborough Town Centre in Toronto.

Emergency crews responded to the incident at 520 Progress Avenue at around 10:40 PM.

On the other hand, paramedics described the situation as “dramatic,” confirming that the injuries range from minor to critical, but it was not clear how many people were taken to the hospital.

The police have also not yet revealed any details regarding the identity of the suspects.

The incident is still under investigation, and police are asking any witnesses to provide information.
