Police: Two separate stabbing incidents in downtown Toronto resulted in one death and the other critically injured

A man died after being stabbed late Saturday night in downtown Toronto.

The police explained that the victim was found injured around 11:36 PM in the area of Queen Street W and Calender Street. Paramedics at the scene took the necessary measures to save his life before transporting the man to the hospital, but he died from his injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police at 416-808-1100.

A man was also taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries after being stabbed in downtown Toronto.

The police said this happened in the area of Yonge Street and Gerrard West Street around 11:20 AM today, Sunday, and it is alleged that two suspects fled the scene.

The first is described as a white man wearing a red and black jacket and red sweatpants, and the second is black and wearing a long black jacket.
