Toronto police responded Monday morning after reports of a suspicious package near City Hall.
Officers arrived at the area of Albert Bay Streets just before 9 AM.
The police also told local media that their emergency unit went to the scene and examined the package.
The police added that a "small clicking sound" was heard while the crews were investigating.
