A 29-year-old man faces charges after a bus passenger was stabbed twice in Oshawa, Ontario last weekend.
The police said the incident occurred around 3:10 a.m. on March 9, near King Street West .Stevenson Roadg
According to investigators, a suspect approached a passenger on a transit bus in the Durham area and stabbed him twice.
The police also stated that he was taken to a trauma center in the Toronto area with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect fled the area and was arrested shortly after by the police.
Investigators said the two individuals did not know each other.
The police believe the same suspect was involved in a separate incident on March 3, where an elderly bus passenger was assaulted, and the victim left the area before speaking with the police; the police did not mention the physical injuries sustained.
The suspect, identified by the police as Kory Faskamp from Oshawa, faces multiple charges, including assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon.
