Police: Double shooting in Weston neighborhood of Toronto results in two men dead

Toronto police confirmed that two men died after a double shooting in the Weston neighborhood of the city early Tuesday morning.

It happened on Hickory Tree Road, near Lawrence Street and Weston Road, at around 4:40 a.m.

According to the police, the two men were found at the scene injured by multiple gunshots. They were taken to the hospital by emergency services but were declared dead shortly after.

The police said it is unclear if anyone else was involved in the shooting and that officers are investigating the murders.
