The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Party, Hassan Nasrallah, revealed the steps that the party has taken and is taking to help the Palestinians in their war against Israel.

Nasrallah said that "the Islamic resistance since October 8 has been engaged in a real battle that is only felt by those who are actually present on the border, and the Lebanese front forced tens of thousands of residents of the border settlements to flee, and 43 settlements in northern occupied Palestine were evacuated due to our operations."

He added: "These operations on the border created a state of anxiety, panic, and fear among the Israeli leadership and Washington of the possibility that the front would go for further escalation or spiral into a wide war."

He continued: "We were told from the first day that if you carry out operations in the south, the American fleets have come for you, and the threats were repeated more than once, and when Palestinian groups entered from Lebanon into Palestine, we received a threat that American planes would bomb you, groups entered and new groups will enter, and the threat will not change our stance."

He pointed out that "Hezbollah will not be content with what is happening on the border with Palestine at all. What is happening on the border is unprecedented in the history of the entity even in the July war. All Zionist sites along the border with Lebanon are targeted daily."

He confirmed that "the Lebanese front has relieved a large part of the forces that would have been dedicated to the attack on Gaza, and our operations on the border come within very precise calculations. The Lebanon front was able to attract one-third of the Israeli army and an important part of it elite and regular forces. Half of the Israeli naval capabilities and a quarter of the air forces are dedicated towards Lebanon. Half of the Zionist air defense forces and a third of the logistical forces are directed towards Lebanon."

Nasrallah stressed that "the crimes in Gaza will make us more convinced and firm in the necessity of steadfastness, fighting, and confrontation no matter the threats and pressures. And the resistance operations in the south are an expression of our solidarity with Gaza and its people to alleviate pressure on them."
