The Montreal fire service intervened Tuesday evening to extinguish a third-degree fire in the Montreal North neighborhood.
The fire broke out in a four-story residential building at the intersection of Henri-Bourassa Boulevard and Pelletier Street.
Seventy firefighters were sent to the site where the fire started on the second floor of the building. The causes of the fire are still under investigation.
On the other hand, authorities provided support to about 30 families affected by the incident in cooperation with the Red Cross, while one person was treated for smoke inhalation, and no other injuries were reported.
