The Palestinian Hamas movement delivered the remains of four Israeli hostages to the Israeli authorities this morning, as part of the seventh batch of the first phase of the prisoner exchange deal that has been ongoing between the two sides since January 19, following the implementation of the ceasefire agreement.

The movement announced in a previous statement that the four hostages, who are the Bibas family and the body of prisoner Oded Levishts, were alive before being killed as a result of an Israeli bombardment that deliberately targeted their detention locations during the recent aggression.

The handover took place in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, in the presence of a representative from the International Committee of the Red Cross, who signed the handover record alongside a commander from the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas.

This step comes as part of the implementation of the ongoing exchange deal, amid anticipation for the continuation of the remaining phases according to the agreement established between the two sides.
