The Royal Canadian Mounted Police on Prince Edward Island announced that two young men have been arrested in connection with the disappearance of a 17-year-old young man.
According to a police press release, the youths were arrested on Tuesday evening, and early this morning, police say officers found human remains on Surrey Road in Milton Cross. The regional coroner is working with the police to identify the remains.
The two young men are in police custody
Superintendent Kevin Lewis, acting commanding officer on Prince Edward Island, said: "A tremendous effort has been made in this investigation, and we hope that through these developments, we can bring some closure to the difficult matters for the loved ones of the deceased."
