A woman in her thirties was shot in a home near Danforth and Jones streets on Sunday evening, just before 7:00 PM. Police initiated first aid efforts, and she was transported to a trauma center in critical condition, where she later passed away.
Police announced the arrest of a young man in his twenties and the recovery of the weapon used. Authorities confirm that the incident is isolated and does not pose a threat to public safety, while the scene remains under investigation with a heavy police presence.
