Residents of Ontario are preparing for a new wave of severe winter weather, as another storm is expected to bring blizzard-like conditions to some areas. Global News meteorologist Anthony Farnell said that the "Alberta Clipper" is moving across the Great Lakes, bringing cold winds and snowstorms caused by lake effect.
At the beginning of Thursday, winds will shift from the south to the northwest, leading to a significant drop in temperatures. Farnell added that "the winds will remain strong, with gusts reaching over 50 km/h at times," noting that "the snowfall rate could reach 5-10 centimeters per hour, which will lead to blizzard-like conditions in some areas such as London."
If you are in Ontario, it is advised to be prepared for the severe weather that may pose a danger to driving.
