The United States Representative to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, called on the Yemeni parties to cooperate with the UN envoy to Yemen to achieve peace and end the conflict in the country.
Greenfield said, according to the American channel (Al Hurra) today Tuesday, that political ways to end the Yemeni crisis must be discussed, emphasizing the necessity of exerting all possible efforts to end the violence and war in this country that has been ongoing for years.
The American envoy demanded that the Houthis immediately and unconditionally release the United Nations staff detained in Sana'a, and also called for guaranteeing the freedom to practice religious rituals and the immediate release of detainees from different religious sects.
