U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that Saudi Arabia will soon join the Abraham Accords, emphasizing that it "will do so at the appropriate time for them." This was stated during a speech he gave at the U.S.-Saudi Investment Forum, where he described his visit to the kingdom as "historic."

Trump pointed out that his current visit is different from his first visit, stating: "There is a significant difference between my first visit and this visit," adding that "the great transformations in the Middle East are due to the remarkable vision of its leaders, led by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman."

The U.S. President confirmed that the Gulf countries are now showing the ability to confront terrorism and extremism, indicating that the region has become "safe and is working to provide creativity, harmony, and progress." He also expressed his desire to make U.S.-Saudi relations "stronger," clarifying that "U.S.-Saudi relations today are stronger than ever."

On the economic front

Trump praised the U.S. economy, stating: "We have a thriving economy, and the days of the Biden administration are gone." He noted that his administration has managed to attract investments exceeding $10 trillion, with an increase in employment rates and improvements in financial market indicators. He also confirmed that energy and food prices in the United States have decreased, with the creation of about half a million new jobs.

Relations with China

Regarding relations with China, Trump announced a "significant agreement" with Beijing, adding: "We are currently delving into some details," explaining that China has decided to open up to the United States in trade and other areas.

It is worth noting that the U.S.-Saudi Investment Forum comes within the framework of enhancing economic relations between the two countries, with Trump reaffirming his commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership between Washington and Riyadh.
