Iranian media: The Israeli aggression continues despite Trump's announcement of a ceasefire

Iranian media reported on Sunday evening that the Israeli army continues to launch a “broad assault” on various areas inside Iran, at a time when U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the ceasefire agreement has come into effect.

Iranian sources stated that “the American claim of a ceasefire contradicts the ground realities, as Iranian sites are being subjected to consecutive airstrikes by the Zionist regime,” as they put it.

This renewed escalation comes despite Trump’s statements that the war has effectively ended, casting doubt on the effectiveness of the announced agreement and threatening its collapse before any real calm is established.
