Toronto Liberal MP Nathaniel Erskine-Smith expressed his feelings of "disrespect" after being excluded from the new cabinet announced by Prime Minister Mark Carney.
In statements made on Tuesday, Erskine-Smith said: "It is impossible not to feel disrespect" following the decision, noting that he had not received any official explanation regarding his exclusion from the government.
It is worth mentioning that Erskine-Smith previously held the position of Minister of Housing in the previous government and is considered a prominent figure in the Liberal Party.
These changes come as part of the new cabinet announced by Prime Minister Carney, which included the introduction of new faces and the exclusion of some former ministers, in a move aimed at rejuvenating the government.
