Snow and snowstorms swept across Canada; the bad weather and the snowstorm that hit Quebec and several provinces in Canada caused a power outage for 41 thousand people in Quebec.
The city of Montreal announced the cancellation of school transportation, and some areas experienced power outages affecting more than 32 thousand homes. The Canadian Environmental Agency warned of the winter storm and the continued snowfall after about 16 cm of snow fell in Montreal.
The meteorological department indicated that the temperature may reach 4 degrees Celsius with continued rainfall, which may reach 10 to 20 mm of rain.
