The Canadian Meteorological Agency announced a wave of severe snowstorms approaching Canada, affecting several provinces.

It pointed out that southwestern Ontario is experiencing a temperature increase reaching 14 degrees Celsius, while residents will have to prepare for variable weather.

The meteorological agency had previously warned of the possibility of snowfall ranging between 5 cm and 10 cm in some areas, causing reduced visibility afterwards.

It also reported that Ontario, as well as Quebec and British Columbia, are likely to witness the snowstorm by mid-next week, amid warm temperatures, followed by a significant drop in temperatures.

Alberta and the central parts of the prairies are also expected to experience a drop in temperatures and snowfall ranging from 10 cm up to 25 cm.

It is worth noting that the meteorological agency issued a warning of decreasing temperatures and snowstorms.
