The Russian Federal Security Service announced today, Wednesday, that it has thwarted a plot for an attack described as "terrorist," which it claims the Ukrainian intelligence is behind.
According to Russia Today, the attack was aimed at assassinating three Russian military leaders from the Russian Ministry of Defense in the capital, Moscow.
Earlier today, Wednesday, Russian news reports revealed that Russian forces successfully seized a new town yesterday, Tuesday, and made advances in other towns and locations on various fronts in eastern Ukraine.
While the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the success of its forces in taking control of the town of Yasnovbrodivka, south of the Dorna River in Donetsk, and improving their positioning along the front line, the Russian army managed to expand its control over the town of Petrovskaya, according to what was reported by "Sky News Arabia."
The Russian forces targeted the Ukrainian mechanized infantry brigades 31, 32, 110, and 59, and the reconnaissance battalion 132 in the Krasnoarmeysk, Merolyubovka, Timofeivka, Vodyanoye Futoroye, and Toretsk areas in Donetsk, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The Russian army also expanded its control over Petrovskaya Gora in New York, which reports also stated that Russian forces had reached the center of this town.
