7 Palestinians were martyred and several others were injured in the early hours of Thursday due to the Israeli occupation's shelling of several areas in the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian news and information agency "Wafa" reported that 5 Palestinians were martyred and others were injured as a result of the occupation forces targeting a house on Al-Sahaba Street in Gaza City.

It added that another person was martyred as a result of the occupation's shelling of a house east of Block 4 on Al-Madaris Street in Jabalia Camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

Emergency crews also recovered a martyr this morning from a house on Yafa Street in the Al-Tuffah area of Gaza City, which was targeted in last night's shelling, raising the number of martyrs from the family to 3.

The occupation's warplanes targeted homes in the southern part of the Sabra neighborhood and the eastern areas of the city, as well as a house next to Majda Wasila School. Additionally, the warplanes carried out an airstrike on Beit Lahia town in northern Gaza, while fires broke out due to the occupation army's shelling of the eastern areas of Beit Lahia with artillery and smoke shells. The city of prisoners, the city of Al-Zahra, the Al-Maghraqa area, and the northern part of the Al-Nuseirat camp in the middle of the Strip were subjected to artillery shelling.

In Khan Younis city, a woman was martyred when her house was hit by a missile from an Israeli drone in Bani Suhaila town east of the city. Several people were also injured due to shelling that hit a house in the center of Abasan Al-Kabira town east of Khan Younis, while the occupation's tanks fired heavily towards the east of Al-Qarara town east of the city.

An Israeli warplane targeted the upper floors of the Jibril Tower on Al-Beea Street in Deir al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip with a missile. Those aircraft also carried out two airstrikes on the northeastern area of Rafah city in southern Gaza.

The occupation forces continue their land, sea, and air aggression against the Gaza Strip for 307 days, with the toll of the aggression rising to 39,677 martyrs and 91,645 injured.
