The Hebrew newspaper "Ma'ariv" reported that the former head of the Israeli National Security Council, Yaakov Amidror, said, "We must be prepared for a very large strike from Iran."
This comes as the American news site "Axios" reported that Israeli officials said they have informed "Washington of our concern that Hezbollah may strike populated centers," adding: "We informed Washington that Hezbollah will pay an disproportionate price if its attack hits Israeli civilians."
American network "CNN" reported that a knowledgeable source said, "It is unclear whether Hezbollah and Iran are coordinating regarding a potential attack at this time."
The source added that "Hezbollah may act without prior notice due to Lebanon's proximity to Israel, which does not apply to Iran," noting that the Lebanese group is moving "faster than Iran in its plans and is looking to strike Israel in the coming days."
