The American network "ABC" announced on Thursday that Democrat Kamala Harris and her Republican rival Donald Trump have agreed to participate in a televised debate on September 10, ahead of the presidential elections in the United States in November.
The channel posted on X, "Both Vice President Harris and former President Trump confirmed their participation in a debate on ABC."
After Biden withdrew from the race on July 21 and endorsed Harris, Trump said he would not debate her because she is not the official candidate of the party.
However, Trump confirmed in a post on the social media site "Truth Social" that he accepted an offer from Fox News to participate in a debate on September 4 with Kamala Harris, the Vice President and potential Democratic party candidate in the elections.
