The Israeli newspaper "Jerusalem Post" reported today, Friday, that the Israeli Security Agency "Shabak" stated that it has detected attempts by agents affiliated with Iranian intelligence to recruit Israelis through social media platforms "with the aim of carrying out tasks that could harm the security of Tel Aviv."
The Israeli newspaper added that the Israeli Security Agency has detected several fake accounts used by Iranian intelligence, which have been identified and monitored, according to what was reported by the "Ma'an" news agency.
It pointed out that posts were found written by Iranian intelligence in groups and channels on the "Telegram" platform, stating that the posts offered "exciting" jobs, promising high salaries upon completing the required tasks.
The posts also included a "link" that respondents were asked to fill in their personal information through it, and a large number of Israelis who received such messages refrained from responding to them, reporting them to the security services, according to the newspaper.
