It has been confirmed that the killing of four people on a farm near the village of Neudorf in Saskatchewan was a murder-suicide.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police RCMP Sask said in an update on Thursday afternoon that a 67-year-old man, a 58-year-old woman, and a 30-year-old man died as a result of the killing, and a 34-year-old man died from self-inflicted injuries.
The four bodies were found on a farm about five kilometers northeast of Neudorf on Sunday evening. Police discovered the bodies while completing the health check.
The RCMP previously stated that they were all members of the same family. It said the families of the deceased have been informed of the investigation and victim services have been provided to them.
The RCMP said they are not looking for any additional suspects and no charges will be laid as a result of the investigation.
The village of Neudorf in Sask. It is located about 143 kilometers northeast of Regina.
