A woman in her twenties was found murdered in a residential building in South Shore in Montreal yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, according to the Quebec Provincial Police, Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
Spokeswoman Hélène Saint-Pierre confirmed the local police service was called to a residential unit on Toulouse Street in Candiac just before noon.
She added that someone who knew the woman was
concerned about her and contacted the police for a wellness check.
The police also consider the woman's death suspicious and continue their investigation into the causes and circumstances of the death.
