Calgary police urge residents to report Sholin and Parsons, accused of committing a kidnapping crime

Calgary police announced that they are looking for two Calgary residents accused of committing a kidnapping and brutal assault crime in 2019, after they failed to appear in court.

The police said the victim communicated with a woman online in April 2019 and agreed to meet her at a house located on Thomson Avenue N. block 100

When he arrived, investigators say the man was attacked and held against his will by several strangers for a long "time

The police also stated in a press release: “The individuals continued the physical and sexual assault on the victim while demanding the victim's cell phone and banking information, including cards, PINs, and passwords.”

The victim complied and provided his banking information to his assailants, who then transferred several thousand dollars to themselves.

The next day, the man's kidnappers left the house and took him against his will to several locations in the city.

The police also said: later that day, the individuals released the victim without his car, and he was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries as a result of the repeated assaults.”

Four people were arrested and charged, including Christina Ann Schoulen, 48 years old," and Richard Wayne Parsons, 40 years old."

Both Schoulen and Parsons have recently failed to appear in court and are now wanted under arrest warrants.

The police say it is unknown whether the two are together or not.
