Police said officers were called to an address on Hornsgate Drive, near Dundas Street West and Winston Churchill Boulevard, just before 1 a.m., to report a man who had been stabbed.
According to police, the man was in the area of Dixie Road and Dundas Street when two men and a woman approached him. Police said the suspects demanded the victim's belongings and then stabbed him.
Investigators said the man was stabbed in the face and lower back. Police confirmed he was transported to a trauma center in serious condition, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
