The police in Burlington, Vermont have announced their concerns about the presence of tracking devices in cars returning from Montreal, Canada.

They announced that residents are finding AirTags and other GPS tracking devices hidden on vehicles returning from Montreal.

The Burlington Police Department said last week that it received two separate reports last month from residents who discovered the devices in their cars.

The police believe that the devices may have been placed there by criminals and are asking anyone who notices a suspicious device on their car to contact the police.

This warning comes at a time when police forces across Canada are facing increasing levels of car theft, with criminals using increasingly fast and sophisticated methods to track and steal desirable vehicles.

Toronto Police and others have warned that potential car thieves are using devices like Apple AirTags to identify and track vehicles that will be stolen later.

The police said they are also concerned about how quickly criminals can steal cars using various methods to bypass anti-theft technology.
