Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the approval of a plan to enter Rafah in southern Gaza in order to eliminate the Hamas movement, affirming "There is no victory over Hamas without our forces entering Rafah."

Netanyahu said, during a press conference in Jerusalem today, Sunday, "There is no victory over the Hamas movement without our forces entering Rafah, and we will definitely enter it. We will overcome all pressures and enter Rafah despite opposition from US President Joe Biden."

According to The Times of Israel, the Israeli Prime Minister renewed his commitment to returning all the abductees, whether alive or dead.

Regarding the call for early elections, Netanyahu said that calling for early elections without achieving the war goals will affect the negotiations to return the abductees.

In response to a question about the progress of the negotiations, Netanyahu said, "The negotiations to return the abductees must be conducted calmly and persistently, and we will exert efforts to reach an agreement."

Netanyahu confirmed that he will return to performing his duties quickly after the surgery he will undergo in the coming hours, where he will treat a "hernia" in his abdomen that was discovered during a routine examination he underwent on Saturday.

Netanyahu (74 years old) committed to his full agenda throughout the nearly six-month ongoing Israeli war against Hamas, and his doctors said he is in good health.

However, doctors acknowledged last year that he concealed a long-known heart problem after they implanted a pacemaker for him.
