Ottawa police are investigating the death of a person at the Valleycrest Heights park on Smith Road, across from the Ottawa Hospital's General Campus.
Emergency responders were called to the area around 1 PM last Monday where a person was found dead outside.
The police covered part of the park on Monday afternoon while officers investigated with the coroner's office, and the individual's identity has not been released as police are still notifying next of kin.
No further details about the victim were available, including how they died.
Ottawa police stated that there is no current threat to public safety.
