The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the Israeli negotiating delegation has returned from the Qatari capital, Doha, after conducting talks with mediators regarding the anticipated exchange deal and truce in Gaza.
It added in a post on its official page on the platform "X" on Thursday evening that "the discussions with the mediators revolved around the release of the detainees in Gaza, while ensuring the achievement of all war objectives."
It indicated that "a delegation headed by the head of the Shin Bet and includes representatives from the Israeli army will depart for Cairo this evening to continue the talks."
Earlier, the Hamas resistance movement stated that it "has not been informed by the mediators of any new developments regarding the negotiations aimed at a ceasefire and prisoner exchange."
It noted through its official channel on the "Telegram" app on Thursday: "The occupation continues its policy of procrastination to buy time in order to undermine this round of negotiations just as it did in previous rounds, and this does not fool our people and their resistance."
