In an official ceremony held today, Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at "Rideau Hall" in Ottawa, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced the formation of his new government, aimed at building a strong economy, reducing the cost of living, and enhancing community security. This government comes amid a clear popular mandate to establish a new economic and security relationship with the United States.
Vision of the new government:
Carney emphasized that his new Cabinet will focus on stimulating investment and building a new Canadian economy that ensures higher-paying jobs and increased income, along with the ability to withstand future shocks. The government will work in collaboration with provinces, territories, and Indigenous peoples to promote investments that support the construction of a unified and strong economy - the strongest in the G7.

Priorities of the new government:
