Iraq's wheat imports from Canada exceeded 40 million dollars during the past year 2023.
According to the trademap site, which provides a trade map for countries for exports and imports, in a statistic reviewed by "Al-Ghad Press," "Iraq imported wheat from Canada during the past year in a quantity of 104 thousand and 550 tons with a total value of 40 million and 325 dollars."
The site added that "Iraq's share of Canadian wheat imports reached 7%," indicating that "the annual growth of imports of Canadian wheat increased between 2019 and 2023 by 241%."
