Forecasts of thunderstorms and rainfall in southern Ontario

Ontario is experiencing changing weather conditions with thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds. Today, Friday, the weather is expected to be cloudy and rainy with a risk of thunderstorms over the weekend across Southern Ontario.

According to the latest weather forecasts from Environment Canada, winds will pick up early on Friday (June 7) with a drop in temperatures. There is a 60 percent chance of showers with a risk of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Winds will be from the west at 30 km/h, gusting up to 50 km/h in the morning.

Temperatures are expected to reach 20 degrees Celsius with a UV index of 6 or higher.

The skies will remain cloudy throughout the evening with a 30 percent chance of rain. Winds will be from the west at 20 km/h, gusting up to 40 km/h.

At night, it will be cool with a low temperature of 11 degrees.
