Canada exited the Copa America tournament after losing to Argentina in the semi-finals on Tuesday evening.
Argentina will face the winner of the other semi-final match between Uruguay and Colombia.
This year marks Canada’s first appearance in the football tournament held every four years.

Argentina's national team secured their spot in the final of the Copa America 2024, currently being held in the United States, after defeating their Canadian counterparts.
The "MetLife Stadium" hosted the match between the two teams as part of the Copa America semi-finals, where Argentina won with two goals to none.

Canada almost scored an early goal in the seventh minute of the first half, after player Shafqberg shot the ball towards Emiliano Martinez's goal, but it went past him.
The first attack from the Argentina team against the Canadian side came in the 11th minute, after a shot from superstar Lionel Messi, but it went wide of the post.
The Canadian team launched an attack on Argentina's penalty area in the 16th minute, but they were unlucky with inaccurate passing among the players, before the attack was cleared by the world champion's defense.
The match remained scoreless until the 23rd minute when Julian Alvarez scored the first goal, after a wonderful pass from Rodrigo De Paul, where the ball reached the Manchester City player who dribbled past the defender and found himself in front of the goalkeeper to shake the Canadian net.
In the 32nd minute, the first yellow card was shown to Canada's player Jonathan David after a strong intervention on Argentina's Cristian Romero.
Angel Di Maria nearly scored a second goal for the tango dancers after a quick counterattack in the 34th minute, but his shot went off target.
A minute later, a new opportunity arose for Argentina through a shot from Tagliafico, but Canada's defense cleared it to a corner, executed by Lionel Messi, with the ball reaching Lisandro Martinez who shot it wide of the goal.
An ideal opportunity presented itself for Messi to score in the 44th minute after he beautifully dribbled the Canadian defense and then aimed a shot at the Canadian goal, which went wide of the post.
In the first minute of stoppage time for the first half, Messi almost scored a goal, but his shot went over the goal.
Luck smiled on Messi in the second half, specifically in the 52nd minute, as he successfully scored the second goal for the world champions, after a shot from Enzo Fernandez towards the goal, with the ball reaching Messi positioned in front of the goal to put it in the net.
Lionel Messi became the second-highest goal scorer at the international level, equalling the Iranian Ali Daei.
Canada's player and Real Madrid team member, Alphonso Davies, sustained an ankle injury following a strong tackle from Montiel and was unable to continue the match as he had to leave in the 71st minute.
Canada almost scored a goal to reduce the deficit after a shot from Oluwasey, but goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez shone and successfully saved the ball.
Argentina thus qualified for the final of the tournament where they will meet the winner of the match between Uruguay and Colombia, on early Monday morning.
