Environment Canada mentioned that heavy rainfall amounts exceeding 50 mm are likely, along with wind gusts of up to 90 km/h.

The agency noted that rapidly flowing water across the road could sweep vehicles away.
Additionally, the agency warned that strong wind gusts could toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break tree branches, and overturn large vehicles.
Environment Canada reminded drivers to slow down, monitor the brake lights ahead, and be prepared to stop if visibility decreases.
People were also urged to seek shelter immediately if severe weather approaches and to return to their homes if they see lightning.
Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or ongoing thunderstorms are likely to produce large hail, destructive winds, or heavy rainfall.
On another note, the agency stated that severe thunderstorm warnings are also in effect for parts of Caledon, Halton Hills, Milton, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, and Guelph.
