The Canadian Weather Agency expects large hail to fall, posing a danger to vehicles and facilities and causing property damage in Toronto.

The Environment and Climate Change Canada warned of a severe thunderstorm for the city, cautioning residents about exposure to strong winds reaching up to 90 km/h and heavy rainfall.

It added that rainfall rates may reach 40 mm with thunderstorms, potentially up to 60 mm continuing until this Sunday.

The Meteorological Agency also mentioned that thunderstorms will diminish as temperatures drop during daylight hours.

The Ontario Weather Monitoring Agency warned that large hailstones could cause injuries and damage property, noting that strong winds could blow away loose items, break tree branches, overturn vehicles, and destroy weak buildings.

They also warned of severe thunderstorms in other parts across Southern Ontario including Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Caledon, Milton, and London.

Warnings for tornadoes extend to Cambridge, Roseville, Breslau, Preston, Hespeler, West Guelph, Aberfoyle, and Morriston, Ontario.
