Four ski resorts in western Canada have seen some snowfall during this month, and the end of August is approaching.
The well-known ski destination in Banff, Sunshine Village, shared a link to the park's webcam on social media the day before yesterday, along with a picture of the mountains dusted with fine snow from the snowfall.
This post was made after a similar one was shared on August 23 about the first snowfall that occurred last Wednesday.
It is worth noting that Matt Lorelli from Powder Magazine reported the first snowfall of the season, adding that Sunshine Village is usually one of the first ski resorts in North America to open each season, due to its northern location and high elevations.
He also mentioned that the expected opening date for Sunshine Resort will be on November 8.
Sunshine Village was not the only ski resort to report snowfall on Wednesday; Nakiska, Lake Louise, and Kicking Horse Ski Resort also shared footage of the snow on their social media.
