Another snowstorm is expected to hit Nova Scotia this week.

The Canadian Environment Agency has issued a winter storm warning across the province.

The Meteorological Agency said the storm will pass south of Nova Scotia late Tuesday until early Wednesday.

Snowfall is expected to range between 15 and 30 cm by Wednesday noon, with winds reaching speeds of up to 70 km/h.

A notice on the Canadian Ministry of Environment's website stated that any new snow caused by this system has the potential to combine with strong north winds to reduce visibility during snowfall, "Currently, the highest amounts of snow are expected along the Atlantic coast, as is the case with all northern residents, small changes in the storm's path can lead to significant changes in snowfall forecasts."

A period of wild gusts and snowstorms is also likely to develop behind the system over parts of northeastern mainland Nova Scotia and northern Cape Breton.

The Canadian Environment Agency continued that those areas may continue to see snow accumulation until Thursday night.
