The Canadian Global Affairs Department confirmed that it is aware of the death of two Canadian citizens in Mexico, indicating that it is providing consular support to the families of the victims during this difficult time.
According to initial reports, Mexican authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident, and no additional details regarding the causes of death have been disclosed so far.
