Canadian Environment issues travel warning after snowfall on Montreal roads

Snowfall in Montreal was slightly more than expected overnight, resulting in slippery roads on Monday morning

The Canadian Environmental Agency issued a travel warning at dawn, urging drivers to prepare for rapidly changing and deteriorating conditions.

Snowfall is expected to continue, with accumulations reaching up to 15 cm in some areas by Monday evening

As of 9:30 a.m., most city roads were in reasonable condition," according to Québec 511, while conditions were poor " on the north and south shores and in West Island

The Canadian Environmental Agency also stated that a major storm with rain and strong winds is expected to hit Quebec from Tuesday to Thursday morning
